I'm Amanda Batterbee, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and the founder of LibraBloom.

Throughout my career in mental health, one theme has remained remarkably consistent: every day, I meet adults who want meaningful friendships, fulfilling relationships, and the confidence to navigate social situations—but don't know where to turn for practical guidance. For many neurodivergent adults, the desire for connection is there, yet the resources designed specifically for their experiences are not.

Creating LibraBloom became deeply personal for me.

As the parent of a daughter on the autism spectrum, I've had the privilege of watching her grow into her own unique person. Along the way, I've witnessed both the challenges of communication and social interaction, as well as the incredible confidence and success that emerge when she feels accepted and empowered to be her authentic self. That experience fundamentally shaped how I think about relationships and human connection.

Professionally, I've spent more than 16 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner working with autistic adults, individuals with ADHD, social anxiety, and other forms of neurodivergence. Time and again, I've seen intelligent, compassionate, and capable people struggle—not because they lack the ability to connect, but because they were never taught the unwritten rules of social interaction, dating, or relationship building in a way that made sense for how their minds work.

LibraBloom was created to change that.

Rather than encouraging people to mask who they are, LibraBloom focuses on building practical skills, increasing confidence, and helping neurodivergent adults develop authentic, healthy relationships while embracing their individuality. Whether someone is looking to make friends, improve communication, navigate dating, or build lasting partnerships, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-informed coaching and tools that meet people where they are.

I believe meaningful relationships shouldn't depend on pretending to be someone you're not. They begin with understanding yourself, developing skills that work for you, and finding people who appreciate you for exactly who you are.
